We have urgent opening of “ GROUP CHIEF LEGAL OFFICER (GLOBAL ROLE)” to be based in MALAYSIA. Responsible to lead the MENA, Africa, RCIS, EU, South Asia, SEA region markets, South America and other new markets. Must provide corporate strategic advice on crisis management, media exposure, regulatory and governmental issues, tactical legal initiatives and must also provide guidance regarding pertinent legal, tax and regulatory issues to the company and/or its affiliates. Ensuring compliance with regulatory , corporate governance and ensuring maximum protection of the company’s legal rights and minimize its legal risks. Providing effective advice and counsel to the Board of Directors and senior management on a variety of business aspects.You have Master of Laws /Law Degree. Minimum 15-20 years’ experience in a fast-paced organisation in a Head of Legal / Chief of Legal role. Should have worked with large organisations with operations in several countries. Should have been managed large diverse teams in different countries. Should have diverse experience in various areas in the Legal field. Must have specific experience in Criminal laws and litigation. Experience with a global Direct Selling Company is preferred but not essential.You must have at-least 15-20 years of experience in developing and leading corporate legal strategy to promote and protect the matters of the company.
